Founded by the dynamic duo Phil Harrison and Vera Thordardottir in London in 2016, Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium has been delighting ice cream lovers with its unique flavors and innovative creations. Inspired by Vera's Icelandic roots and the couple's shared passion for high-quality ingredients and creative culinary experiences, Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium quickly gained a loyal following for its imaginative approach to ice cream making.

From its humble beginnings as a small ice cream parlor in London, Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium has grown into a beloved local favorite known for its inventive flavor combinations and commitment to quality. Each scoop is a labor of love, personally developed and made by award-winning chef Phil from the finest ingredients sourced locally whenever possible.

In 2019, Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium launched its creative scoop ice cream menu, featuring flavors like Celeriac, Miso, and Pecan ice cream, Blueberry, Lavender, Meringue Swirl ice cream, and Beetroot, Raspberry, and Wasabi Sorbet. These unique flavors quickly became a cult hit, earning Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium a spot on the menu at select partners like Hilton Hotel Chelsea, Soho House Festival, and Covent Garden Ice Cream Festival.

In 2022, Phil and Vera relocated with their family from London to Whitstable, Kent, where they discovered the incredible produce the county has to offer. Inspired by the local bounty, they made the decision to relocate Bears Ice Cream production to Whitstable and fulfill their dream of creating farm-to-tub ice cream. Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium ice cream parlor and kitchen opened in Whitstable in June 2023 and has been embraced by locals and tourists alike.

Now, Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium has reached another milestone as a finalist in the Muddy Stiletto 2024 Awards. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of the entire Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium team.
