Local Food Heroes, Universal Cookery & Food Festival 2024.

At Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium, we're proud to reflect on our exciting participation in the 2024 Universal Cookery & Food Festival. Our Managing Director, award-winning chef, and owner, Phil Harrison, was honoured to take the stage as a Local Hero, sharing the story behind our unique, chef-crafted ice cream creations.

Stage at Universal Cookery & Food Festival 2024

This year's event was truly special, as we were joined on stage by our friends and fellow panelists from Canterbury Cheesemakers, Produced in Kent, and Loddington Farm. Together, we highlighted the rich food culture of Kent and the dedication to quality ingredients that fuels our businesses. We discussed how collaboration between local chefs, farmers, and producers leads to the incredible food experiences Kent is known for.

Phil also shared insights into how our award-winning ice creams are inspired by local flavours and made possible by our partnerships with Kent's finest producers. The Universal Cookery & Food Festival gave us the perfect platform to celebrate our work and our community, all while enjoying the energy and creativity of the UK’s food scene.
